One of Chandler’s presents was a “Merlock Crossing” t-shirt that his dad made him. He was so proud to wear it to school on his birthday.
This is Elly. Instead of bugging my husband to update our blog, I’ve decided to take over. I’m sure that he will check in now and again…you’ll know when it’s him because the post will be funny and interesting.

Okay the following is a video Chandler made of himself playing a video game, er, pardon me… THE video game World Of Warcraft. 
I’m not quite sure how he did it with warcraft typically being a two handed game. The quality is really poor, but as you watch it take note of two things. One, I’m not the worlds greatest parent, and like to let my kid play video games for obscene chunks of time because I was never able to when I was a kid……. so sue me. And two, listen to Molly in this video, while Chandler is playing she breaks in with quality lines like: “why do you have a beenana for a weapon?” and “Can you please do me a favor? I was given an early Christmas present by my Dad this morning in the form of an old family video. It was footage of a “talent show” in which all of the kids showed off their “skills.” It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary until I happened upon footage of Shanna and Deanna in their seriously southern hockey hair. I knew then that my duty as a brother was to post it on the web for all to see. I shall speak no more of the video, it will speak for itself, just click on the photo.

So if you check this blog on a regular basis, you might have noticed that it gets updated maybe once every 26 fortnights. Incidentally, if you check this blog regularly even after such long periods of inactivity, you have issues.
I uploaded some Warner footage with a small shot of him in his early walking stages, and then some gratuitous bathtub scenes. I would have posted some Reagan video but sitting and watching her lumber around on all fours while snorting like a pig on the living room floor is quite poor video content. She is no where near as much the ham as her brother on film. She does do some funny stuff, but it usually involves snot bubbles and we never have the camera handy when she blows them.
Anyway, click on the image to start the video. As of today Warner is officially and completely bipedal. I think he may have even beaten Chandler for how early he took his first steps. Reagan is quasi-bipedal. Usually she lets go of the couch and after three or four steps her large heed promptly finds the floor.

No matter how much fast food and Mountain Dew I consume, I just can’t get my head to the threshold of splitting open like my lovely daughter below can. She has serious talent.
I have here, irrefutable video evidence that my baby has a high HIQ. “Humor Intelligence Quotient.” This is Warner’s first “real” laugh. And first laughs are only fun for the parents to watch always fun to watch. At some point towards the end he goes stone-faced and refuses to laugh anymore. It’s kind of creepy.

At 2 or 3 pm Arizona time on Wednesday, June 22nd, Elly will be checking in to the hospital to have the infant humanoids that she has been processing for the last few months extracted from her uterus. Wish her luck.

Few things in this world make a parent as proud as when they see their offspring “open up a can” on the opposing team in a sporting event. Imagine my dismay when I found out there were no losers in 5 to 6 year old “coach pitch” tee-ball. And where there are no losers, there are no winners, where there are no winners, there is communism… I don’t know why I expected anything other than a winner-free game when at the practice a couple days before I was handed an order form for Chandler’s end-of-season trophy. The score at the end of the game was uncanny, each team had as many points as they had players that came up to bat.
I couldn’t resist tapping the coach on the shoulder after the game to ask “sooo… who won the game?” He gave me a sad disappointed look until he realized I was kidding. Though I could tell he thought to himself, “There’s one of these guys every year.”
