Few things in this world make a parent as proud as when they see their offspring “open up a can” on the opposing team in a sporting event. Imagine my dismay when I found out there were no losers in 5 to 6 year old “coach pitch” tee-ball. And where there are no losers, there are no winners, where there are no winners, there is communism… I don’t know why I expected anything other than a winner-free game when at the practice a couple days before I was handed an order form for Chandler’s end-of-season trophy. The score at the end of the game was uncanny, each team had as many points as they had players that came up to bat.
I couldn’t resist tapping the coach on the shoulder after the game to ask “sooo… who won the game?” He gave me a sad disappointed look until he realized I was kidding. Though I could tell he thought to himself, “There’s one of these guys every year.”
I updated the gallery with some pictures from the game, CLICK HERE to see Chandler in action.
What do the men below have in common? I’ll let you figure it out.

Pride n. - Pleasure or satisfaction taken in an achievement, possession, or association: parental pride.
I can’t tell if that’s Michael Buble’ or Chandler for a good 2 and a half minutes there.

I’m not one to encourage excessive violence. I abhor the thought of someone getting bludgeoned and beaten to within an inch of his life. I’m also very fair and even minded when it comes to sporting events and would never let a silly game get the best of my emotions to the point of irrational thought and unreasonable anger and hatred. I’m also not one to loathe another human being so much that I would actually put thought into where strategic sniping positions are in the Staples Center.
An Athlete is just someone who is there to play a game and by their very nature are competitive beasts bred to win. And they win at all costs. So surely I would consider this before picking up the phone and calling a friend who has a friend that can take care of people that need to be taken care of.
This would all just be stupid and illogical. Would make no sense.
One more video treat for all who care to see footage of my offspring reaching new heights of Awesome. Normally I have to pry the assault rifles and survival gear out of there hands to get them to do anything, but for the Pledge Of Allegience they gladly relent…

On another note, the photo gallery is now up. Click “Photo Gallery” on the menu bar.
I figured with the first post of our new Family site I would kick off the first installment of a new feature called “Why My Kids Are Cooler Than Yours.” The evidence is HERE.
By the way, that underlined word “HERE” above is what people in the industry refer to as a “hyperlink.” You click on it and something happens. Whether that’s a desirable result I leave to your discretion.
